Switching back to CF cards from SD cards

After 2 years of using SD cards, I’ve come back to the CF card fold. These small, high capacity cards that I’ve come to like are showing signs of wear that I never experienced in 8 years of using compact flash cards. It was down right miserable today at the track! I can deal with the cold. But when you add blustering wind to the equation, I’m just a degree away from calling it a day. It’s not as unbearable as rain. Although I will call it a day at the first hint of raindrops. It was enough to throw me off my game.
